Sharing is caring, unless sharing is a dangerous situation.
Class 1,2, and 3 circuits are not to share conduits, raceways and junction boxes with power and light circuits. (There are some specific exceptions allowed in the NEC.)
Class 1, 2, and 3 circuits are classified as remote-control, signaling, and power-limited circuits in the National Electrical Code (NEC). These circuits are characterized by their usage and electrical power limitation, which differentiates them from light and power circuits.
