Improper electrical installation can result in shock and fire.
Conduits, cable assemblies, boxes, cabinets, and fittings shall be securely fastened in place. Conduits and cable assemblies shall be continuous from outlet to outlet and from fitting to fitting.
All electrical materials and equipment shall be approved for the intended use and location by a recognized testing laboratory such as Underwriters' Laboratories, Electrical Testing Laboratories, or Factory Mutual.
