Give Me Direction- Wenatchee Home Inspection

As a home inspector I use Google Maps all the time. Sometimes I will map out a route prior to leaving for the home inspection.

Have you ever wondered if you could send that map information from your computer to your Android phone device?

Well if you use “Google Chrome” you can! You can send your custom maps (and other links) to your mobile device. You will need to load the appropriate apps on your Mobile Device and your Computer first.

Here is the link to add the “Chrome to Phone” extension for Google Chrome to sink with the phone.

Follow the on screen directions it is very easy.

On your phone you go to the “Play Store” and search for the “Chrome to Phone” app.

Google’s “Chrome to Phone” extension is a Google Chrome extension, Android App, and AppEngine server that enables you to send links from their Google Chrome desktop browser to their Android device using the Android's Cloud to Device Messaging service.

You can send; links to browser, Google Maps, YouTube links, selected phone numbers in Web pages (it will launch the dialer with the number pre-populated) and more.

With mobile devices becoming so robust it won’t be long that I can throw it into a home and have it do the home inspection. Well okay maybe not. But there is a lot they can do.
