Feathered Memorial Day Guests

In the “Tunk Valley” of Okanogan County a few years back they placed many nesting boxes to encourage repopulation of the Mountain Bluebird.  Here is a Mountain Bluebird bringing back some insects for its chicks.

On my way back home from Home Inspection in the Malott area I was able to get a glimpse of a few feathered ones.

Here is an Eastern Kingbird.

Here is a Black Billed Magpie.

This photo is of a Ringed Turtle-Dove. It is a common caged/domestic bird and occasionally escapes and goes feral.
