Rodents seem to just know how to get into homes. They are known to carry over 35 diseases worldwide.

A mouse can squeeze through a hole the size of a nickel, and rats can get through a hole the size of a half dollar! To prevent rodents from entering the house you should be checking inside and outside the house for gaps or holes.

One disease that is probably not on the CDC radar is “Wirious Eatious”.

This is a disease that is inflicted on the home wiring system from these little creatures eating your home’s wiring.

They just seem to like that chewy rubberized coating on the wires. I had one homeowner say to me “yeah, the phone just quit working in the back rooms”, hmm.

(Notice this has been repaired already...well sort of)

So to prevent this disease from happening to you will need to be diligent on preventing these creatures from entering your home.
