Snake in Crawlspace- Chelan and Leavenworth Home Inspection Service
Crawlspaces are always a wonderful place to go. When you hire home inspector, hiring one that will take to time to properly evaluate this area is very important.
The home inspector should be checking every plumbing drop and the sill plate for the presence of foundation bolts. As practice I sound the wood as I am doing this looking for rot fungi and the presence of wood destroying insects.
During a recent home inspection I came upon a very curious find... a snake, not just any snake. The is a snake in the family genus of Snakus Plumberios.
This home had an issue with the main sewer line backing up and breaking that left a large amount of sewer waste under the home.
During the repair process a plumbers snake was deployed... but this one never made it back to the van.
So what do you do when your snake is stuck? Foam it in is the answer.
This snake will never get to retun to its warm bag back in the van : (
