Wenatchee, Chelan and Leavenworth Home Inspection - Spring in my step

Now that apple trees are in bloom. So are many other flowers and trees. We still have snow in the mountains but the rivers are starting to fill with the spring run-off.

Here are two pictures from the yard.

On a recent home inspection I had to stop and take this picture.

Here is Lake Chelan (The name Chelan is a Salish Indian word Tsi - Laan, meaning deep water).

Lake Chelan is a narrow glacier-fed lake is confined by a gorge that 55 miles long and 1-2 miles wide..  It is one of the deepest lakes in North America. Lake Chelan is the third deepest lake in the United States, at 1,486'. The bottom of the lake is below Sea Level.
