Wenatchee and Douglas County Washington Home Inspector with Special Olympics

 Wenatchee and Douglas County Washington Home Inspector with Special Olympics in 2010 state games. Prior to my endeavor as a residential home inspector I co-founded and coached a Special Olympic Alpine Ski team (the old team has merged with a friends team).  I am a few years removed from the days of strapping skis on athletes. But I am never far from them in my heart. Every year when the old team rolls into town I join them on the Slopes of Mission Ridge to see how they progressed.

It really amazing to see what was once a group of kids turn into adults and have their own special lives. It always remind me how we should cherish the life we have and enjoy each day, because they do! They fill the room with energy and smiles. If you ever get a chance to go watch the athletes in action during the Washington state Olympic Games you will come away with knowing what I have known for a long time. The Saturday night dance is a must!
